Once a year we create a specially designed model, a Limited Edition, which we only sell for a limited period of time.
 

Modern Classic

The theme of this Limited Edition is Swedish classic. Inspired by Malö but with a pocket over pocket system Malö has been chosen to receive the new design. The bed has been afforded the beautiful ”Grandpa’s garden” material, designed by Cecilia Hall from Jobs in Dalarna, complimented with specially designed legs in mahogany with brass cups. Carpe Diem and Jobs stand for Swedish craftsmanship with a focus on quality and design, and the idea behind the classic hand-printing is to allow the bed to be more than just a bed. With the new design, the Malö has been transformed into a timeless piece of furniture.

Modern Classic, as opposed to the ordinary Malö, has a pocket system in the bottom segment. All standard sizes of Malö can be ordered in Modern Classic.

Modern Classic is 45 cm high (excl. legs) and comes in the exclusive Grandpa’s Garden fabric from Jobs. Carpe Diem’s specially designed mahogany and brass legs are available 17 cm high.

Modern Classic will be available for a limited period from 6th September until 31 May 2009.

Fabric

Modern Classic has a hand-printed fabric in 50% linen and has a natural base colour. The fabric was designed by Cecilia Hall for Jobs in Dalarna.

The Exclusive is a stretch surfaced, pliable
top mattress with a soft cotton-filled
summer side and certified New Zealand
wool-filled winter side. Superb comfort.
